CSE Campus Biology Labs

Campus Biology Labs | College of Science and Education

The CSE campus biology labs provide a dynamic, hands-on learning environment where science comes alive through exploration, experimentation, and direct interaction with God’s natural world. Our facilities are designed to inspire curiosity, cultivate critical thinking, and prepare students for real-world careers in science and education.

Animal Science Barn

Step into a living classroom with over 100 farm animals used in animal husbandry, veterinary science, and zoology studies. Students gain firsthand experience in animal care, behavior, breeding, and biology. This immersive lab is ideal for students pursuing careers in veterinary fields, agriculture, and biological sciences.

Biology lab

Biology Lab

Equipped with professional-grade microscopes, lab instruments, and biological specimens, the Biology Lab offers students the chance to explore cellular biology, genetics, ecology, and anatomy. Lab courses emphasize observation, experimentation, and stewardship of life sciences through a Christian worldview.

Chemistry Lab

Hands-on chemistry instruction comes to life in our state-of-the-art Chemistry Lab. Students conduct experiments in biochemistry, environmental chemistry, and chemical reactions, gaining the skills necessary for scientific inquiry and laboratory safety in academic and field settings.

ZooQuarium Science Facility

Part zoo, part aquarium, and part museum—our ZooQuarium is a one-of-a-kind facility housing over 100 species of living and preserved animals from global biomes. With touch tanks, preserved specimens, and live ecosystems, this lab fosters interdisciplinary learning across biology, marine science, zoology, and conservation.

Greenhouses & Gardens

Greenhouses & Gardens

Our on-campus greenhouses and gardens provide a hands-on environment for students studying botany, horticulture, and sustainability. Students gain real-world experience planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of flora while learning about plant biology, soil health, and eco-friendly agricultural practices.

Outdoor Animal Habitats

Surrounding our labs and barns are thoughtfully designed outdoor animal habitats where students can observe and study animals in naturalistic settings. These areas support coursework in ecology, wildlife conservation, and behavioral science while promoting respect and care for God’s creatures and creation.
